Administrative/Virtual Assistant

Position Overview

This is a remote (virtual) position that requires at least 15 hours week/3 hours per day, to begin. Hours can be flexible. You will be responsible for the smooth and efficient management of customer tour and information requests, coordination with guides and service providers, and ongoing verbal and written communications with clients. Yours is a pro-active support position, working closely with the company CEO.

  • You are very organized and look forward to maintaining a system that streamlines our customer experience.
  • You are not afraid to ask for clarification so that you can prioritize, and execute your tasks quickly, with confidence. You can re-calibrate or course-correct like the best GPS system.
  • You are able to take direction, with grace.
  • Contact with clients brings out your upbeat, enthusiastic and empathetic personality. Your previous work experience shows that you take this front-line responsibility to excellent customer service seriously.
  • The travel industry is changing quicker than we could ever imagine. You are flexible and we can rely on you to adapt to short-turnaround requests, should they come up.
  • You love to learn and will make short work of mastering itinerary platforms such as Axus, UMapped or Travefy.
  • You know your way around project and team management tools such as Asana, Trello, etc.
  • Your creativity will make the layout of our newsletter look gorgeous.
  • You express yourself fluently and appropriately in English both verbally and in written communications. French is an asset.
  • You love to travel, don’t you?
  • A strong and reliable internet connection is required.

Pay Rate

Compensation is negotiable
