Position Overview
As a trip planner for Walking The Spirit Tours, you will be building customized itineraries based on our clients’ desires and your expertise in luxury travel. Each trip includes some element of Black heritage found in destination. You work with our vetted vendors to provide travelers a stress-free and joyful experience and context they won’t find anywhere else.

- You know what makes a trip extraordinary – the little (big) details that have travelers feeling appreciated right from their initial conversation with us, through the curated choices of trip elements you propose, the quality of care they receive in destination.
- You don’t let that itinerary out the door without double-checking the smooth flow and absolute accuracy of each detail.
- You are agile in research, efficient in delivery, and know how to be flexible with a client’s (limited amount of) changes.
- You thrive off change and are a team player.
- You love turning a jigsaw puzzle of exciting possibilities into a beautiful well-crafted, personalized travel experience.
- Managing the trip budget shows your ability to provide the best value for the client’s luxury trip.
- Project management, planning, organization, creative solution-finding is your sweet spot.
- France holds few secrets for you and you can’t wait to share its treasures, but not afraid of the reality of politics, social concerns, and controversial history.
- Familiar with other destinations – Spain, Portugal, UK, or Morocco? Show us how.
- You have travel planning experience and preferably have built FIT and/or group trips previously.
- Customer-focused and diplomatic.
- You can write succinctly, clearly yet evoke the spirit of place and experiences.
- You have some knowledge of Black history and contemporary experiences.
- French is an asset.
